Registration 1 D sets new UK price record
Commence Marketing client SMA have just sold the most expensive registration plate in UK history.
The registration number 1 D was expected to attract a great deal of interest, and it did. Bidding started strongly and reached £200,000 very quickly before eventually selling to Lebanese property developer Nabil Bishra for £285,000.
This broke the previous UK record of £201,000 for 51 NGH set in April 2006.
