Vehicle Registration Number “5” Sets New Record
On Saturday 12th May at the Emirates Palace Hotel in Abu Dhabi, a new record was set for the highest price achieved for a vehicle registration number at auction. The registration number “5” was sold for AED 25.5 million, the equivalent of £3.5 million by Emirates Auction on behalf of the Abu Dhabi Police. The auction comprised of 41 registrations in total and raised £14 million, all of which was donated to a charity for victims of road accidents.
